In this episode, Claire emerges from Rathpike's smelly Undercity to find herself in East Rathpike, home to the brave thief Pliny and his gang. Accepting Pliny's offer, Claire joins his band and receives her test assignment - humiliate one of Rathpike's two blacksmiths for working with the corrupt mercenaries, and reward the other for refusing to sell himself out. As usual, she has to rely on her sexual prowess to make things work.
