In this chapter, a depressed and desperate Biff, unable to find proper comfort even after another lovemaking session with Katie, takes the wrong turn with Gloria, prompting her to flee the Stairway to Heaven and, possibly, head off to Baynard General in hopes of rescuing Ellen. To prevent her from doing anything rash, Biff, Henry and Katie rush off to the hospital, greatly aided in their infiltration task by the rather depraved attitudes of some of the staff...
